Welcome to Memling FAQ frequently asked questions. Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about our campsite near Bruges. Our FAQ frequently asked questions provide useful information about reservations, facilities, and more.

To travel to the city center, take bus number 50 which departs every 10 minutes from the 'Vossensteert' stop, located near the Maes gas station on the main road. Leave the campsite, turn right, cross the main road. You can get off at the Katelijnepoort stop or at the train station, the bus's final stop. After 7:20 PM, the bus frequency decreases, the last bus to return is at 11:43 PM, on Friday and Saturday at 00:12 AM.

Always check the current schedule on Google Maps or De Lijn website.

A 10-ride card can be bought at gas station total gas station total. Closed on Sundays.
You can buy a single-ride ticket on the bus.

The Kruispoort, the city's gateway, is 1.5 km from the campsite.

Turn left when leaving the campsite and walk 800 m straight ahead to the end. Then go briefly to the right and then to the left. Follow the main road for 1200 m straight ahead to the city gate.

By car: the cheapest parking is at the station.

You can call a taxi at +32 487 132 103.

The campsite is small and often busy, therefore booking is strongly recommended.

Camping Memling has 90 pitches and there are few other campsites nearby.

Go to our online reservation form choose period of stay, type of pitch and fill in your details.

You can cancel your booking until 12 PM, one day before arrival. A cancellation fee of 7 euros will be charged.

Contact us by email and mention your reservation number.

Without reservation number:
         – Register on-site and pay electronically

With reservation number:
         – Change your place if availability allows.
         – Extend your stay if availability allows.
         – Print entrance ticket

Check-out is between 7:00 AM and 11:30 AM. If you would like to extend your stay, please let us know before 11:00 AM.

Would you like to book additional nights? This can easily be done via the self check-in, subject to availability, with your reservation number.

We offer free internet access. We will send you the password by email.

There is a washing machine and a dryer available in the main building near the exit. A wash costs 5x 1 euro, and drying costs 50 cents per 10 minutes. You can find a change machine for coins outside next to the vending machine at the entrance to the recreation room. This way, you can easily get the coins you need!

In the winter, you receive 6 amps as standard, outside the winter period 10 amps are provided.
The power consumption included in the daily rate is 5 kilowatts.
Additional amperage/wattage up to 16A is available on request, with limited availability in the winter.
Heating with electricity is not allowed.

BBQ is allowed on standard and hard standing pitches:
Please ensure a minimum height of 40 cm for the barbecue.

On the tent field:
BBQ is not allowed.

We ask you to limit ground mats and carpets to a maximum of two square meters (about 21.5 square feet). This way, we can work together to maintain a beautiful and green environment!

Use of the sanitary facilities is included in the price.

Dogs are allowed, but keep them on a leash and please walk them outside the campsite for their needs.
The neighbouring forest is ideal for walking the dog.

On the campsite, it is not allowed to leave dogs unattended in campers or caravans.

The nearest vet is Piet Delaender and can be reached via piet.delaender@skynet.be or by telephone on +32 (0) 50 37 31 33.

The waste containers are located just before the barrier at the exit of the campsite. There are four containers: one for PMD, one for residual waste, one for glass, and one for paper and cardboard. We kindly ask you to use transparent bags for residual waste, if possible. The use of the camper service and chemical toilet is permitted between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Within a radius of 1km you will find shops, supermarkets, restaurants, a bank and a pharmacy.

A Tesla charger ("Wall Connector") is available. You can charge your vehicle upon request.

It is legally prohibited to charge an electric vehicle via a CE socket. Our infrastructure is not equipped for high-capacity charging. The risk of fire in the fuse boxes or electrocution through the car's body is real. Any damage caused by misuse of the electrical network will be compensated by the violator.
